The filter element uses anti-static filter media. By embedding metal wires, carbon fibers, or adding conductive fibers into the filter media, static electricity accumulation that could lead to dust explosions is prevented. Some filter elements are also flame-retardant, with their base material meeting flame-retardant or non-combustible standards.

Pressure relief and explosion-proof devices: Equipped with a pressure relief disc and explosion-proof valve. When the internal pressure of the dust collector exceeds the set value, the pressure relief disc ruptures to release the pressure, while the explosion-proof valve prevents the spread of flame. The flameless exhaust device extinguishes the flame during the pressure relief process, preventing secondary explosions.

Explosion-proof electrical system: Employs explosion-proof motors, explosion-proof electrical boxes, and other electrical components. The fan is positioned at the rear to prevent debris from impacting the impeller and generating sparks, thus avoiding the risk of an electrical spark igniting the dust and causing an explosion.

Selection Considerations:

Based on dust characteristics: For metal dusts such as magnesium and aluminum, spark detection and a rapid explosion-proof system are required. For the food and pharmaceutical industries, cartridge dust collectors using membrane filter media are preferred to meet the requirements of non-sticky dust and easy cleaning.
